Instructions for authors
IETE Journal of Research considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that they have been submitted only to Journal of Research, that they have not been published already, nor are they under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. Authors who fail to adhere to this condition will be charged with all costs which Journal of Research incurs and their papers will not be published.
Contributions to Journal of Research must report original research and will be subjected to review by referees at the discretion of the Editorial Office.
Please note that Journal of Research uses CrossCheck™ software to screen papers for unoriginal material. By submitting your paper to Journal of Research you are agreeing to any necessary originality checks your paper will have to undergo during the peer review and production processes. If you have shared an earlier version of your Author’s Original Manuscript on a preprint server, please be aware that anonymity cannot be guaranteed. Open Access
You have the option to publish open access in this journal via our Open Select publishing program. Manuscript preparation
1) Please ensure the quality of your written English is of a high standard prior to submission. If you are not confident of the quality, please ask a colleague who is proficient in written English to check your work.
2) Authors submitting PDF manuscripts must also submit an editable Word source file, including all tables and figures as appropriate.
3) The references should be formatted exactly in the IETE JR format. See below for more details.
4) Manuscripts should be limited up to 10 pages in IETE JR format, including figures, references, author biographies and photos. After final checks, if the typeset manuscript exceeds 06 pages length, the authors will be charged Rs 1000/- (for Indian authors) and USD 50 (for other authors) for each extra journal page.
5) Please ensure all listed authors meet the Taylor & Francis authorship criteria. Authors must give their names and affiliations just below the title. Authors should not give their degrees (dr, prof., etc.) or positions (or military ranks) before the name. They should be given only in the bio text.

1. General guidelines
Papers are accepted only in English, and UK English spelling and punctuation following the OED is preferred. For all manuscripts non-discriminatory language is mandatory. Sexist or racist terms should not be used.
Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text; acknowledgments; appendixes (as appropriate); references; table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figure caption(s) (as a list)
Please supply a short biographical note (no more than 100 words for each author) together with a photograph and a current email address. Please note, all author emails will be displayed in the published article as part of the author biography.
Abstracts of 100 words are required for all papers submitted.
Each paper should have 6 to 15 keywords
Section headings should be concise and numbered sequentially, using a decimal system for subsections.
All authors of a manuscript should include their full name and affiliation on the cover page of the manuscript. One author should be identified as the corresponding author. The affiliations of all named co-authors should be the affiliation where the research was conducted. If any of the named co-authors moves affiliation during the peer review process, the new affiliation can be given as a footnote. Please note that no changes to affiliation can be made after the article is accepted.
Please supply all details required by any funding and grant-awarding bodies in a separate paragraph.
Authors must adhere to SI units. Units are not italicised.
When using a word which is or is asserted to be a proprietary term or trademark, authors must use the symbol ® or TM.
Authors can include their ORCiD.
