1. SUBMISSION
Thank you for your interest in The International Journal of Laboratory Hematology. Authors should kindly note that submission implies that the content has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere except as a brief abstract in the proceedings of a scientific meeting or symposium.

Preprint policy
Wiley believes that journals publishing for communities with established pre-print servers should allow authors to submit manuscripts which have already been made available on a non-commercial preprint server. Allowing submission does not, of course, guarantee that an article will be sent out for review. It simply reflects our belief that journals should not rule out reviewing a paper simply because it has already been available on a non-commercial server. Please see below for the specific policy language.
However, Wiley also knows that the use of preprint servers is not universally accepted and that individual journals and/or societies may approach submission of preprints differently.
This journal will consider for review articles previously available as preprints on non-commercial servers such as ArXiv, bioRxiv, psyArXiv, SocArXiv, engrXiv, etc. Authors may also post the submitted version of a manuscript to non-commercial servers at any time. 2. AIMS AND SCOPE
The International Journal of Laboratory Hematology provides a forum for the communication of new developments, research topics and the practice of clinical laboratory haematology.
The journal publishes invited reviews, full length original articles, and correspondence.
The International Journal of Laboratory Hematology is the official journal of the International Society for Laboratory Hematology, which addresses the following sub-disciplines: cellular analysis and morphology, flow cytometry, haemostasis and thrombosis, molecular diagnostics, haematopathology, haematology informatics, haemoglobinopathies and red cell disorders, point of care testing, standards and guidelines.
The journal was launched in 2006 as the successor to Clinical and Laboratory Hematology, which was first published in 1979. An active and positive editorial policy ensures that work of a high scientific standard is reported, to bridge the gap between practical and academic aspects of laboratory haematology.

Original Articles
Articles should be no longer than 4000 words, contain no more than 40 references, not more than five figures/tables and include a structured abstract.The International Journal of Laboratory Hematology requires all manuscripts to be submitted electronically at https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ijlh.
